Fresh Air to fill your lungs, stunning scenery to treat your eyes, and steep terrain to challenge your body are all elements to be found at the 5th Annual Hike the Highlands: 3-Peaks Challenge is being held this year on July 19, 2014. Here at CaperLive, we feel up to the challenge!
The 3-Peaks Challenge consists of 24 teams of 4 people per team and has a registration fee of $150 per team which includes: park pass for each team, t-shirts, closing reception and door prizes! It's a beautiful way to experience the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and meet new people along the way!
Joining the CaperLive team is our good friend Adam Everett and Melissa's brother Don Michael Vickers and we're grateful to have them on board as we challenge ourselves to hike 3 mountains in 1 day. The mountain trails this year are Robert's Mountain, SugarLoaf and Franey which in total is approximately 15.5 km! We're going to die.
Just Joking! However it is going to take some intense training beforehand. We'll keep you posted on our progress!
For more information check out The Hike The Highlands website!
For now I'll leave you with one question...
3 mountains... 1 day... are you up for the challenge?
